A little bit about me:

I began my studies in Psychology at UCLA where I received a Bachelor's degree in 1985. Then it was on to Pepperdine for a Master's degree.  In 1995 I earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.  I am a licensed psychologist (psy 15876).   I have worked in various clinical settings since 1990 and I've treated children, adolescents and adults.  I have experience working with individuals, couples and families.

Currently I work with adults who are trying to improve their lives.  Many of my clients are in their 20s and early 30s.  They are dealing with various issues:  adjusting to life in LA, finding and maintaining relationships, dealing with the aftermath of childhood abuse, overcoming depression and anxiety, improving their self-esteem, and setting and meeting personal goals.  Other issues that I work with include women in their 30s who want to marry and have children, but have been so focused on their careers that they now find themselves single and focused on their "biological clock".  I also see people who are dealing with issues related to being gay and lesbian - coming out, finding a partner, dealing with prejudice, etc.

I have extensive experience working with people with serious and persistent mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, depression, bipolar disorder as well as a variety of anxiety and personality disorders.

If you have a problem that you are dealing with and you want some help, give me a call at 310/393-8783. I'll be happy to speak with you.
If I can't help, I'll help you find someone who can.
